FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 3, 2005 - BC Biotech today announced that Dr. Robert Sindelar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of British Columbia; Mr. Scott Cormack, President and CEO of OncoGenex Technologies; and Mr. Bill Newell, Chief Business Officer of QLT Inc. have been appointed to the organization’s Board of Directors. Mr. Newell will also act as the Vice-Chair of BC Biotech.
