Network Immunology conducts R&D to demonstrate proof-of-concept for new medicines in order to enhance and prolong human life.

The Company owns intellectual property rights to three technologies. The first technology is an adjustment of the immune system, leaving the system resistant against the many forms of HIV. It is a novel approach to vaccination, in that it does not involve vaccinating with the virus or any part of the virus itself. The second technology is a customized treatment for the facilitation of organ transplantation. The treatment involves the tailoring of two immune system networks to each other so that newly transplanted organs are not rejected by recipients. The third technology is a monoclonal antibody for the treatment and prevention of autoimmune diseases.

These technologies have emerged from a Network Theory of the immune system. Dr. Niels Jerne won the Nobel Prize for his immune network hypothesis. A colleague of his, Dr. Geoffrey Hoffmann, Chief Scientist of Network Immunology, has developed the network hypothesis into a theory that is now backed by a significant amount of experimental data.
