BCIT offers a joint (with UBC) Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, Honour (co-op) degree program specifically designed to meet the needs of industry. This unique degree program combines extensive training in science theory available at UBC with the extensive laboratory training available at BCIT.
BCIT also offers an Associate certificate program which provides students with up-to-date practical training needed to explore a career in biotechnology. If you have a recent Bachelor of Science but lack practical training, this program can provide you with the laboratory skills required to be successful.
BCIT is the first post-secondary institute in the province to offer a condensed time frame program in Biotechnology.
