BioEnergy & BioProducts Seminar Series: Featuring Novozymes
September 9, 2010
LifeSciences BC cordially invites you to join us for a networking breakfast and seminar with Novozymes, a leading global company in industrial enzymes and bio-innovation from Copenhagen, Denmark. Together with customers across a broad array of industries, they create tomorrow's industrial bio-solutions, which both improves their customers' business and the use of the planet's resources.
On February 16, 2010, Novozymes launched an enzymes product called Cellic CTec2 that turns waste into fuel at a cost on par with gasoline and conventional ethanol at the US market prices.
Novozymes has partnered with leading companies in the biofuels industry, such as POET, Greenfield Ethanol, Inbicon, COFCO, CTC, Lignol and ICM, to help advance different process technologies. From these partnerships, Novozymes demonstrated that Cellic CTec2 works on many different feedstock types, including corn cobs and stalks, wheat straw, sugarcane bagasse and wood chips.
BC has the biomass resources and government policies to be a global leader in BioEnergy & BioProducts. Will you be the next innovative research or business partner?
