Biotechnology and Beyond: Introduction to the Life Sciences Industry
Offered in partnership by LifeSciences British Columbia and BCIT, and taught by Dr. Paul Barran, this popular two-day course provides a comprehensive overview of the basic principles, technologies, and applications of biotechnology and life sciences.   

Breakfast Speaking Series 
Held four times a year, these breakfasts include two short presentations by local biotech companies, followed by a keynote address by an industry leader.   

Medical Device Seminar Series
The Medical Device Seminar Series has been specifically developed in order to provide education and networking opportunities for our members from the medical device sector.

Industry Roundtables 
Our Industry Roundtables are held in order to provide a forum for members of our life sciences community with similar interests to come together and discuss current issues facing their companies.

sanofi-aventis BioTalent Challenge
The sanofi-aventis BioTalent Challenge is a high-school competition held nationwide that brings together creative and curious young people interested in solving a problem using biotechnology.

LifeSciences BC Awards
Each year, LifeSciences British Columbia is proud to host to the LifeSciences BC Awards Ceremony (formerly the BC Biotechnology Awards Ceremony), which honours outstanding contributions made by those within the biotechnology community in British Columbia.  

Salmon Barbeque
Held each June at scenic Cecil Green House, LifeSciences British Columbia's Annual Salmon Barbeque has become one of our most popular events.

BioPartnering North America
BPN is the North American version of the distinguished BioPartnering Europe conference held in London each October, which is a cornerstone of the annual conference calendar. BPN takes place each February in Vancouver, BC.
