Leslie Sanderson

Leslie Sanderson is a second-year university student studying biotechnology through the UBC/BCIT Joint Biotechnology Program.  Leslie volunteers weekly at BC Biotech and has been a tremendous help with updating the website, performing media monitoring, and building our international mailing list.  She has also recruited one of her biotech classmates to join her.

Leslie entered the Biotechnology Program in response to her long standing fascination with the progress being made in human health care, specifically in the fields of cancer and viral diseases.  Her goals include obtaining a PhD in Virology & Immunology and a career as a research scientist in one of these fields.
