Accelerate Canada - Canada's Graduate Research Internship Program November 5, 2008 The ACCELERATE program connects university-based researchers and their graduate students with Canadian companies. Thus far, the program has been a great success throughout Canada with over 700 internship projects to date (with 300 this year alone). While this program is well known by some members of the MITACS community, academics already working with companies should be aware of  ACCELERATE internships,as should companies who would be interested in accessing cutting-edge university expertise.  This is a wonderful program that provides excellent opportunities to academics and industry alike.
