This meeting will continue and expand the essential exchange between industry, academia and government that has been so successful at the World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing. BIO 2008 a Success, Places British Columbia on World Stage
LifeSciences BC led a delegation of over 100 British Columbians to BIO San Diego this year from June 17 - 21. BIO was attended by about 20,000 people, and Canada had the largest national delegation at about 1,000 delegates strong. This year at BIO, jurisdictions around the world took the opportunity to make important announcements, demonstrating their governments’ strong interest in interest and support of biotechnology. India Comes Calling
June 18 - 19, 2008In our efforts to continue to build relationships with emerging life sciences centres around the world, LifeSciences BC recently partnered with the Canada-India Business Council, the India Merchants’ Chamber and the BC Ministry of Technology, Trade and Economic Development to help welcome approximately 100 Indian government and business leaders to BC as part of the India Calling 2008 delegation June 18-19th.
