ONE-WEEK VERSION July 21st - July 25th, 2008 (CAN$1250) DESCRIPTION: This intense one week workshop will focus on a myriad of different techniques used in the molecular manipulation of DNA, RNA and protein. MITACS Industrial Math Summer School July 14 - August 8, 2008 The MITACS Summer School in Industrial Mathematics, taking place July 14 - August 8, 2008, brings together Canadian and International undergraduate students interested in graduate school to undertake mathematical research on real-world problems in a team setting. The school lasts for a one month period with students working in teams of five under the guidance of a subject area expert mentor. Problems are submitted by Canadian industry, research labs, government, and other not-for-profit organizations and chosen to be fun and challenging yet fun while requiring a multi-disciplinary approach.
