At yesterday's Vancouver Board of Trade Policy Forum, BC Biotech Executive Director stressed the need to not only think of our sector within the context of Canada and the United States but globally.

With this in mind, we are pleased to introduce our Global Focus in Issue #2 of biolinks. This issue's focus is India. 

Currently the 11^th largest biotech country with approximately 100 public and private companies, India is expected to generate $5 billion in revenues and create more than one million biotech jobs by 2010. 

Also, in the Employment Section we have added an Internship and Co-op Program section for employers to find out the latest on programs providing students with industry work experience.
