Simon Fraser University- Robotics and Mechatronics Lab - Industrial Collaboration Opportunity

Carlo Menon, a new faculty member at the School of Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University has recently moved to Canada from Europe (Italy.) He is a mechanical engineer but focused his PhD on robotic systems for space use. Mr. Menon spent a number of years researching on Biomimetics (engineering systems inspired by nature) at the European Space Agency (The Netherlands.)

Mr. Menon is now starting up a new lab in robotics and mechatronics with an application also in the medical field and is hiring graduate students in bioengineering.

He is looking for companies that would like to collaborate with his lab for future projects. Although the deadline is rapidly approaching, he would also like to apply for the Strategy Project Grant of NSERC together with an industrial partner.
