Korean Pharmaceutical Company Seeking Partnering Opportunities with Canada
The Canadian Embassy in Seoul, Korea is seeking to identify possible Canadian partners for a Korean pharmaceutical company, Sam Chun Dang Pharma. The company is interested in licensing pharmaceuticals in the fields of respiratory, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, endocrinology, and oncology. They will consider on-market drugs as well as candidates in any clinical trial stage.
About Sam Chun Dang Pharma:
Sam Chun Dang Pharma was established in 1943 (formerly Cho-sun Sam Chun Dang, they adopted their current name in 1986), and listed on KOSDAQ (Korea Venture Stock Exchange) in 2000. SCD employs 295 staff, and its main business activities are manufacturing and distribution of pharmaceutical products. In 2005, they recorded sales volume of KRW 52,572 million (approx.
