As senior manager of technology development, Allison is responsible for; developing long term technology roadmaps, identifying new initiatives to implement technologies, and supporting programs to further the success of BC’s technology sectors.
In her fifteen year career at BC Hydro, Allison has spearheaded the use of new technologies to improve the company’s environmental performance. Her assignments included the development of BC Hydro’s first Smart Grid strategy and technology roadmap, demonstration projects in micro-grids and alternative energy, and most recently the creation of a set of eco-system based metrics for measuring environmental performance.
Allison sits on the British Columbia Institute of Technology Environmental Industry Advisory Committee, and is a regular speaker at Technology and Sustainability related community and industry events. She has a BA from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
